It's been alot of fun over the last few years, but the time has come for us to end our hosting of Lan events and we're hoping some one will be keen to take over our role and run SGL.

I want to thank everyone for their support of the event during our period as owners. It's been a privelage to be involved in the management of the event.

Please assist us in finding some one who is keen to keep Sydney's largest and longest running Lan going, so we can discuss what is required to hand over the event so SGL Lan events can continue.

If you know of anyone that might be keen to take it over please have them contact Sarah on the contact page so we can make our departure and their entry a smooth process.

Thanks again for the continued support of the event.

SGL Management

Hi All

Hope you had a wonderful time at the SGL. It seems like everybody was having a lot of fun.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to all our winners, and we are looking forward to the next event that is happening in July with details yet to be finalised.

Huge thank-you to the sponsors of the event, Microsoft, Uzi, Logitech and Thermaltake.

If you didn't have much luck this time around, get practising for the next SGL and you too could win some of the cool prizes on offer! See you there!

To win a whole case of shots of supreme energy drink UZI, we want you to go hunting!

Go on the web and find the pic that you think best describes UZI. If you think you have the energy to SHOW US YOUR UZI then post your photo now on the forum!

Closing date for entry is Wednesday 20th October.

Terms and Conditions: If two photos are similar or identical, the one that was posted first will be in the running for the prize.

Microsoft has come to the party with two great prizes for CS:Source gamers. First up is the Sidewinder X8 gaming mouse that features BlueTrack technology, as well as 2.4Ghz wireless. For those diehard gamers it offers 30 hours of activity on one charge, has image processing of 13,000 frames per second and the vertical side buttons reduce inadvertent actuation risk. It only takes one click to switch sensitivity and has a maximum speed of over 240cm per second.

Then there is the Sidewinder X6 keyboard comes with a detachable key pad, in-game macro recording, a full media keyset, as well as two-colour dimmable backlighting. Its cruise control can be used without having to hold down the key or keys assigned to the action. A lighting dial adjusts the brightness of the keyboard and key pad.

Both these prizes could be won by you in the SGL CS: Source tournament on May 2nd.
